Cable channels should not be allowed to refuse to carry a NEWS channel, simply because they don't like the name. I know a MAJOR cable company that gets several thousand requests to carry a NEWS channel and give the stock answer "We will submit a channel request to our programmers" when they have no intention of EVER negotiating or adding the channel. yet they have no problem adding JUNK channels that nobody wants.
