Bring in differant cable providers into our areas
I moved to Little Ferry, NJ. I wish that Cablevision could come here. They have Time Warner. Can't they share the area and let the people decide what they want as there cable provider? I want Cablevision. I live near the border of Hackensack, NJ. People, why not let us decided who we want. Cablevision gives free movies tickets every Tuesday as part of there rewards. You may call to find this out. Only Cablevision does this. I have Verizon. But I still do not back down on wanting Cablevision.

People who want more choice need to go to their City Council meetings. If the council won't listen to your requests, vote them out on election day. Whichever Cable companies pays the most gratuities get the city license.

Unless the FCC and JUSTICE DEPARTMENT say NO, as it should, you will be surrounded by Comcast. Seems Comcast is trying to get bigger than Ma Bell was before it's breakup. Bigger doesn't always mean BETTER!!

What happened to the Telecommunications Act of 1994 which stated that in order to prevent providers from monopolizing a region, all infrastructure (wire, fiber, etc) must be made available to all service providers regardless of who built it? We truly do not have a choice of telephone, cable, internet, power providers. It's all a matter of who built whatever is outside your front door. UNless you want to go satellite and pay through the nose for dial up internet speeds.

I also live in Little Ferry. I can't stand Time Warner either. I am with Verizon. But I want Cablevision. You get all three services plus the rewards for example. Cablevision gives two free movie tickets every Tuesday. Plus other rewards. I had it in Hackensack before Hurrance Irene. I had to move and came to Little Ferry. Every town the surrounds Little Ferry, has Cablevision. The people have no choice? I wish the people here in Little Ferry would attened a town hall meeting and have our say on this. Anybody that feel this way I am more than willing to go with you.

I also live in Little Ferry. I HATE TIME WARNER but they're a monopoly here. Until other providers come in, we're screwed. As I'm sure you know, competition drives prices down.
