Spring, Texas 77381.

I only listen to NPR. What happened to both sides of the story? Our newspaper, The Villager, did not even carry the story of President Obama's election. Fair and balanced is hard to find around here. I'd like to hear and see the news reported as it happens, without someone's biased spin attached. I'll take responsibility for sorting through the facts and making my own decisions. Our community is owned by the party of "No".

    Hello Carol,

You live close to Houston and have choices that maybe you are unaware of.
NPR has been very disappointing in my opinion.
Their analysts and experts are always from right-leaning think tanks.
In my opinion NPR has become National Pentagon Radio.
Their recent treatment of Howard Zinn following his death was appalling.
Try watching or listening to Democracy Now by Amy Goodman.
It can be found in Houston on "We the People TV" Ch 17 and 98 at 7am
    Also KPFT 90.1 at 10:30pm
It can also be taken at any time from the internet at www.democracynow.org
This program will at least provide you with much different coverage than what is found on mainstream media including NPR.

    Good Luck
